Intoduction to the lab

The computer lab was established for the purpose of introducing mechanical engineering students to computers and using computer applications in MEN courses. It includes several personal computers with peripherals. It is utilized in several courses and is used by students for their course assignments and senior projects. It is also used for all experiments and design/research activities that involve simulations. The computer lab is equipped with the state-of-the-art personal computers, a laser printer and a scanner. They are periodically updated to maintain the level of the state-of-the-art status. They are all networked through a university networking system.
